The Countryside Conservancy was established in 1994 to conserve lands and waters in and near the Tunkhannock Creek Watershed for public benefit, now and for the future. The Countryside Conservancy promotes conservation in Lackawanna, Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties by providing information and assistance to landowners who want to preserve the health of their lands and waters, and encouraging citizens to get involved in watershed protection.

The Mid-Atlantic Center for Urban and Community Forestry is part of the USDA Forest Service, Northeastern Area, Urban and Community Forestry Program, providing assistance in the development and transfer of innovative tools and technologies to assure healthy functioning urban forests for generations to come. The Center supports the needs of state forestry agencies in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.For more information visit our website or call 570-945-8095.
Northeastern Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center (AHEC) mission is to: increase access to primary health care services; recruit and retain primary health care providers; promote work force diversity for health care professionals; and advance community education and public health initiatives.
NEPA AHEC is located in a small white farm house on the side hill above the ball field on Keystone College campus. Enter the Keystone College entrance, turn left at the stop sign, go until you see the ball field on the right hand side, turn right, drive by the field and over the wooden bridge with the "No vehicles beyond this point" sign. The white farm house will be on the left.
NEPA AHEC is proud to serve the following counties Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, Pike and Monroe.

The Northeast Pennsylvania Urban and Community Forestry Program supports local efforts to demonstrate how a livable, sustainable environment, achieved through community stewardship of urban forest resources, contributes to the social, economic and ecological health of the region. The program is funded by the USDA Forest Service, Northeastern Area, State and Private Forestry, and directed by the PA Urban Forestry Council in cooperation with PA DCNR, Bureau of Forestry, Rural Community Forestry Section and Penn State Cooperative Extension.
