Transfer students bring a diverse educational background to the Keystone College community. Making up 25% of the student population, they enrich the academic experience of their fellow classmates.
Request official transcripts from all previously attended institutions be sent to the Office of Admissions at Keystone College. If you have earned fewer than 12 credits, it is necessary to also submit an official high school transcript.
If you are intending to major in any education degree, you must submit the results of a passing PRAXIS one exam.
Maximize Your Transferability
Transfer Thursdays are the first and third Thursday of every month. Bring your transcripts for an instant admission decision and instant credit evaluation. Application fees will be waived!
Up to 75 credits may be applied for students seeking a bachelor's degree, and up to 32 credits may be applied for students seeking an associate degree.

Application Process
Submit the following to the Office of Admissions at Keystone College:

Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions. If you have earned fewer than 12 credits, it is necessary to also submit an official high school transcript.

Teacher Evaluation or Letter of Recommendation

PRAXIS one exam. If you are intending to major in any education degree, you must submit the results of a passing PRAXIS one exam.
- Supplemental Transfer form should be completed if there are courses in progress, or courses that you plan on taking before enrolling at Keystone College.
Interview
In order to experience Keystone College, an interview is encouraged to discuss your transfer credit audit with the Coordinator of Transfer Admissions.
Evaluation
An official evaluation of transfer credit will be completed by the Registrar once official transcripts have been received from all colleges attended. The transfer evaluation will be sent to you with an admissions decision.
Orientation
Transfer students will attend an orientation session prior to the start of classes, specifically for transfer and adult students.
Articulation Agreements
In order to make the transfer process as seamless as possible, we have entered into articulation agreements with the following institutions: Lackawanna College, Camden County College, Bucks County Community College, Northampton Community College, Harrisburg Area Community College, and Johnson College. The agreements are major specific and apply to students who have earned an associate degree from one of these institutions with a GPA of 2.0.
Transfer Scholarships
Academic merit-based scholarships of up to $4,500 per year are available to full-time degree seeking students who have earned an associate degree and/or earned a minimum of 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Local transfer scholarships: students who attain an associate degree from either Lackawanna College or Luzerne County Community College are eligible for a $500 scholarship per year if they attend Keystone College full-time.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships: Documented members of the national honors fraternity who have earned an associate degree and/or earned a minimum of 60 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 3.5 may receive a $500 PTK Scholarship per year.
