- Off-Campus Housing
Approximately 900 of our full-time students live off-campus, many of them in the surrounding communities. Landlords in these areas are looking for mature students like yourself to rent their property. In addition to student housing in these communities, a variety of people also live in the area: senior citizens, families with children, and single professionals. Because Keystone College students constitute an important segment of the population in the surrounding area, your conduct and the impact it has in the community is of major importance.
Are you Ready?
Stop by and see Wendy Kramer at the Office of Commuter Living, in Patrick Hall, for a guide to off-campus living to see if the move is right for you.
Need a Place?
The Office of Commuter Living has phone numbers and housing details available to students interested in making a move. Another great source is the local Pennysaver, a copy is kept in our office for you to browse. Also, be sure and check the local papers such as the Scranton Times and Craig's List for current listings.
Please be aware that all of the information regarding apartments provided by our office is just that. We are happy to provide you with a list of landlords and their numbers as they make that information available to us. It is the student's responsibility to make sure that the property is a suitable match for their budget and that the apartment is safe and secure.
