Student Leader of the Month

The Office of Student Activities wants to recognize student leaders who go above and beyond. At the end of each month, a Student Leader of the Month will be selected by the Office of Student Activities. This selection will be based upon online nominations received from Staff and Faculty.

To be selected as a student leader of the month the student must:

• Be in good social and academic standing with the college
• Exceed expectations as a student leader
• Be involved in at least one extracurricular college organization/club/sport, etc.
• Be recognized by a staff or faculty member of the college through the online nomination form

Winners

Each Student Leader of the Month will receive a certificate and be recognized through college publications such as KC Morning E-Notes. At the end of the academic year, the Office of Student Activities will recognize a Student Leader of the Year. This student will be selected from the list of Student Leaders of the Month from that academic year. This student will be recognized during the Leadership Reception and will receive a stipend and certificate.

Sarah Langan, Biology Class Year: Sophomore Sarah, an honors student, currently serves as an Eco Club Officer, Science Society Officer and is an actor with the Keystone Players theatre group. Her writings are also featured in The Plume, Keystone’s yearly literary publication. “Sarah is a star student, and is very helpful toward her peers. She is a positive role model for others.”
