Keystone students present research at Eastern Psychological Association conference
Keystone students Abigail Fata, Zoey Kermidas, Jacob Wielgopolski, Abril Cosalino, Maria Tomada, Miranda Mascia, and Zoe Castillo recently presented their work, in collaboration with psychology faculty Dr. Steven Howell, Dr. Debra Belknap, and Dr. Michael McDougall, at the Eastern Psychological Association conference in Philadelphia.
Keystone students Abigail Fata, Zoey Kermidas, and Jacob Wielgopolski presented their work on the effect of social anxiety on alcohol abuse among college students (done in collaboration with Dr. Howell of the psychology department).
Keystone students Abril Cosalino, Maria Tomada, and Miranda Mascia presented their work, done in collaboration with Dr. McDougall and Dr. Howell of the psychology department, on the effect of coaching styles on athlete mental health.
Keystone senior Zoe Castillo presented research conducted with Dr. Deborah Belknap and the Juvenile Justice Institute, along with Zoe Castillo, Mandy LaCoe, and Julia Martinez, entitled “Building Communities Through Restorative Practices: Connecting First Year Students with College and Peers.”
