Keystone students to receive direct benefits through the American Rescue Plan
While the COVID-19 pandemic has been personally and economically devastating to so many people, the latest federal response offers some promising news to Keystone College students.
Through the recently enacted American Rescue Plan (ARP), Keystone College received a funding allocation to help serve students and ensure that learning continues during the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Keystone will use this allocation for direct financial aid grants to students, as well as to support a variety of student activities and other college expenses.
We are pleased to announce that, based on our expected ARP allocation, each Keystone full-time undergraduate student will receive approximately $1,000 in each of the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters. This grant will be separate from all other financial aid and awards students may receive. The allocation will be dispersed to students by direct deposit or paper checks, depending on the method they select. The funds can be used for any purpose.
In addition to Keystone’s already affordable tuition, students will be able to reduce the cost of their college education by up to $2,000 for the 2021-2022 academic year. During these difficult times, that makes a huge difference to students and their families.
At Keystone, we do everything possible to make sure students receive the best education at the most affordable price. This is just one more reason why there’s never been a better time to attend Keystone College. For more information, email admissions@keystone.edu or call (570) 945-8111 or 1-800-824-2764.
