Transfer Students
Keystone is appealing the recent Adverse Action by its accreditor, Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). During the appeal process Keystone will remain accredited, however, a condition of the appeal is that we cannot market to, recruit, or enroll new students.
While you are welcome to submit an application, please note that Keystone will not take further action on your application until a final decision on the appeal is announced. At this time, a final decision may not be known until March/April 2025. Please check back for updates and we will notify you of any updates when we are able.
Transfer students are an important part of our campus community and make up a significant portion of Keystone College’s incoming class each year. We offer generous scholarships and award generous transfer credits to students transferring from a variety of two and four-year schools.
Who should apply as a transfer student?
If you have attempted at least 12 or more college credits (non-developmental) at another college or university (excluding courses taken while in high school), you can apply to Keystone College as a transfer student. If you’re unsure of your status at the school you are attending, or previously attended, we recommend that you contact the registrar’s office at that institution.

Partnerships and Transfer Agreements
In order to make the transfer process as seamless as possible, we have entered into agreements that are major-specific with the following institutions. The agreements apply to students who have earned an associate degree from one of these institutions with a GPA of 2.0.
Dual Admission:
Keystone College has entered into a Dual Admissions Agreement with the following schools. Students enrolled in an Associate degree program at the partner school can be admitted into a bachelor’s degree program at Keystone, with guaranteed third year (junior) status, on the condition that they graduate from the partner school with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and complete a “Dual Admissions Intent” form by the beginning of their third semester. Additional benefits may be available to dual admission students. Interested students should contact their school for details of the agreement.
- Johnson College
- Montgomery County Community College
Articulation Agreements:
Keystone College has also partnered with several schools to offer major-specific transfer articulation agreements in order to ensure a seamless transfer process. Under these agreements students will be guaranteed third year (junior) status in the articulating program. Interested students should contact their school or the Keystone College Office of Admissions for details of the agreements, including a list of transferable and recommended courses.

Special Considerations for Learning and/or Physical Disabilities
Keystone College complies with policy and federal law, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, which prohibit discrimination on the basis of a disability.
In order to request services and/or accommodations for students with learning or other disabilities, Keystone College requires a current evaluation by an appropriate professional attesting to the nature of the disability and specifying any limitations and special accommodations relevant to a college learning environment.
While information may be contained in an Individualized Education Plan, 504 Plan or Transitional Plan, Keystone College reserves the right to request additional information or assessment, such as recent psychological testing, to ensure proper guidance and assistance to the disabled student as needed throughout their tenure. Appropriate documentation should be submitted to the Admissions Office no later than four weeks prior to the start of class, to ensure adequate time for review.
