President’s Opening Convocation

Celebrate the official opening of the 2025-2026academic year during the President’s Opening Convocation. All first-year students are required to attend; all new transfer students are encouraged to attend.
Students should gather in front of Capwell Science Hall at 12:30 p.m. where they will be led to Brooks by the College Marshal Professor Sherry Strain, Ph.D. In the event of rain, students should bring an umbrella.
